In 2008 /2009 Fantasy / Adventure film 'Like an Angel' was filmed around Torbay . With help of a very small group of film makers and actors ( who doubled up in many of production roles) . In May 2009 the film was Premiered to a mixed reception at the Spanish barn in Torbay.

Since then the film has gained noteratity through a Documentary about the making of film called 'John Tomkins A Creative Journey' . But the film has rarely been shown . Director 'John Tomkins' has journeyed back twice to recut the picture and is proud to present a 10 minute cut of some of the action /special effects scenes in the picture . Which differs from the first cut , in that there is more special effects and the music soundtrack has been beefed up as well ( also the running time has been cut by ten minutes , through feedback from the first screening ) . With the scenes from this version exclusively being shown at cine for the first time anywhere .

He wakes. No memory. No past. Only the sickened feeling of adrenaline in his system as fear takes hold. Locked inside an abandoned room he discovers the horrific extent of his torment. Infused within the flesh of his own body, sits a strange mechanical device. With no reason and no explanation. Through a boarded up window he escapes onto the rain soaked streets of a sleeping city. A city void of any life; other than the walls that bear graffiti markings, eluding to civil unrest. When the storm breaks and the sun rises, he will see the city in its true light and come to learn his place within it.
